Summer School 2021

Edgenuity Summer School

In-Person Credit Recovery summer school is available to students currently enrolled in a credit recovery (Edgenuity) course. Students will continue working to complete courses they are currently enrolled in or start a course identified by their teacher / counselor. Successful completion of these courses will be identified on student transcripts.

* any student attempting to meet credit requirements for graduation over the summer, must have all courses completed by July 29th.

June 7th - July 1st

  • There is no fee for Edgenuity summer school. Students are subject to a $50 no show fee if a student fails to meet minimum attendance requirements.

  • Registration for June session must be complete by 6/1 
  • Registration for July session must be complete by 6/25
  • Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Courses are subject to cancellation due to low course enrollment.

Summer School Offerings

West Aurora School District is offering multiple summer school options for 9th - 12th grade students attending West Aurora High School or Blackhawk Academy. There is no charge for students enrolling and attending Content Recovery or Credit Recovery. A student may have a $50 fee assigned to their account for enrollment and non-attendance. Students signing up for Waubonsee Community College - Initial Credit will be charged $140 for the dual-credit college course.
